To make a question in English we normally use "Do" or "Does". It is normally put at the beginning of the question (before the subject).
Example:
- You speak English.
- Do you speak English?
- He likes juice.
- Does he like juice?
Add "Do" or "Does" at the beginning of the sentence to make it a question. We use "Do" when the subject is I, you, we or they. We use "Does" when the subject is he, she, or it.
Examples:
- Do they run fast?
- Does she have a dress?
"DO NOT" add an "S" at the end of the verb when referring to 3rd person and making these questions.
Notice that these verbs in the example below does not have an "S" at the end.
Examples:
- Does Jill and Scott eat together?
- Does he walk to school?
- Does she exercise?
- Does it taste good?
